2022 Kids Workshop Grades 4-6 (Session Two)

Does your child have an interest in drama and the arts? Did he really enjoy being part of the school pageant? Does she get excited about performing in skits at church? Monticello Theatre Association is interested in helping your child explore their creative side during the MTA Kids Summer Workshop.
The MTA hosts two Kids Summer Workshops. Each workshop concludes with a final performance delivered by workshop participants.
Grades 4-6: (Length: 2 week) June 13th - 24th, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with performance on June 24th, cost is $135. Led by Sherrie Hildreth.
MTA Workshop experienced 3rd graders may register for Session 2
Each workshop will include a variety of stage work in order to prepare a show for their closing. Students will work on stage presence, characterization and body movement as well as assisting with costumes, make-up, props and set design for their show. Participants will have a great time “putting on a play”. It can be a fun time to “be someone else” -- on a stage, with lights!
Both closing programs will be open to the public.
